Funding and trading

Liquity and Gravity trading will be live as of 15:00 PM UTC today, January 22, 2025.

To add an asset to your Kraken account, navigate to Funding, select the asset you’re after, and hit ‘Deposit.’

Make sure to deposit your tokens into networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost.

Trade on Kraken

The new tokens are tradeable on Kraken and Kraken Pro with the following parameters:

• Trading via Kraken App and Instant Buy will be available once the liquidity conditions are met (when a sufficient number of buyers and sellers have entered the market for their orders to be efficiently matched).

Here’s some more information about these assets:

Liquity is an Ethereum-based borrowing protocol, enabling users to mint stablecoins by depositing ETH or liquid staking tokens (LSTs). It prioritizes decentralization, security and ease of use, further enabling users to earn yield by depositing their minted stablecoins. The LQTY token is awarded to depositors, and it can be staked to earn fees, direct revenues and influence governance.

Gravity is an EVM-compatible blockchain focused on mass adoption. Boasting sub-second finality and cross-chain functionality, it aims to streamline interactions for users and developers at massive scale. The G is the protocol’s native token, acting as a gas token (and, later, as a means to secure the network via staking).

All of Kraken’s available tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on our Listings Roadmap and social media profiles.
