The first method to buy virtual assets is Quick Buy/Sell.
By using Quick Buy/Sell, you can buy coins with your credit/debit cards, account balance, or via a third party. You can pay in different fiat currencies, including as USD, SGD, HKD, VND, MYR, and more.
Enter a purchase amount and then select a coin out of the 30 supported coins to buy. Coins supported on Huobi include BTC, ETH, HT, UNI, XRP, and LTC.
After confirming the order information, you will be making payment via a third party. The coins that you purchase will then be credited to your account.
You can also use credit/debit cards to purchase coins, which will be credited to your account quickly.
II. Huobi P2P
You can also use P2P to buy virtual assets. Peer-to-peer, or P2P for short, involves traders directly trading with one another without a third party. It allows you to buy coins from other users without paying any transaction fees. You can choose which advertisers you wish to transact with based on your preference.
To navigate to the P2P page, visit Huobi’s official website > Buy Crypto > P2P.
Before buying or selling virtual assets, please note that you are required to set up a payment method and complete KYC verification.
You can choose your preferred seller from the advertisers’ list based on their order completion rate, available token amount, sell limit range, price, payment method, etc.
By clicking the avatar of your favorite seller, you can see the seller’s detailed information.
Please wait for the seller to release the coins. In the meantime, you can contact the seller or Customer Support. Your order will be completed once the seller confirms the transaction.
Please make sure that the coins will be credited to you before confirming your order.
Huobi will freeze the coins and credit them to your account once the seller confirms the transaction. You will receive the coins in your Wallet on the Assets page. We will screen every transaction automatically for security reasons to detect any suspicious trades.
Note that all Huobi advertisers must complete KYC verification before they can offer buy/sell services on the platform. The verification process, which includes facial recognition, is put in place to give you a secure trading experience. Advertisers are required to deposit funds as collateral to get their identity verified, which makes trading even safer.
