POL funding and trading are live. Add POL to your Kraken account by navigating to Funding, selecting the asset, and hitting Deposit.
Only deposit POL on Polygon. Deposits using other networks will be lost.

Polygon is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that aims to improve the speed and reduce the cost and complexities of transactions on its network. Polygon uses sidechains to help with off-chain computation while maintaining security and uses a decentralized network of proof-of-stake (PoS) validators. POL is an upgrade and renaming of the MATIC token. Switching to POL tokens enhances tokenomics and governance rights, allowing stakeholders greater involvement in decision-making and shaping the platform through community initiatives.

All of Kraken’s available tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on Kraken’s blog and social media profiles.
