Below you will find our complete list of assets that are available for Staking with their corresponding rates. We’ve added Axie Infinity (AXS) and Sui (SUI) to our Staking service and adjusted the rates for Cardano (ADA). These rates will be effective on July 4th, 2023.

We offer flexible Staking to all our users, meaning we don't work with a lock-up period. Your staked assets are always available for trading or to withdraw to your own wallet
About Staking
On-Chain Staking
Staking allows you to grow your funds without having to sell your digital assets. When you stake your digital assets, you allow those to participate in maintaining the security of a blockchain network, earning rewards in return.
Off-Chain Staking (lending)
By opting in for Staking, you agree to lend all of your current and future supported Off-Chain Staking digital assets, such as BTC and USDC, to Bitvavo Custody BV, a Bitvavo Group company. You also agree that Bitvavo Custody lends all those supported digital assets to third-party lending partners. These lending partners perform various activities to earn rewards with the funds borrowed and share these earnings with Bitvavo Custody. Bitvavo Custody in turn distributes parts of these earnings back to you, as a pay-off for lending your digital assets.
Even though Bitvavo Custody carefully selects its lending partners, it may happen that a lending partner defaults and becomes unable to return the digital assets lent to them. This may lead to a full or partial loss.

[Dutch] Op 4 juli voegen we twee nieuwe assets toe aan onze Staking service en passen we het rewardpercentage voor één asset aan. Deze update wordt hiermee in lijn gebracht met de protocol beloningen en de huidige markt.

Hieronder vindt je onze volledige lijst met assets die beschikbaar zijn voor Staking met de bijbehorende tarieven. We hebben Axie Infinity (AXS) en Sui (SUI) toegevoegd aan onze Staking service en de tarieven voor Cardano (ADA) aangepast. Deze tarieven gaan in op 4 juli 2023.

Flexibele Staking service
Onze Staking service is flexibel. Dit betekent dat wij niet werken met een lock-up periode. Je kunt je gestakete assets altijd verhandelen of opnemen naar je eigen wallet.
Over Staking
On-Chain Staking
Met Staking kun je geld verdienen zonder dat je je assets verkoopt. Wanneer je assets staket, zet je ze in om
het blockchain-netwerk veilig te houden, in ruil hiervoor ontvang je rewards.
Off-Chain Staking (lenen)
Wanneer je Staking inschakelt, stem je ermee in om al je huidige en toekomstige ondersteunde Off-Chain Staking assets, zoals BTC en USDC, uit te lenen aan Bitvavo Custody BV, een bedrijf van Bitvavo Group. Je stemt er ook mee in dat Bitvavo Custody al deze ondersteunde assets uitleent aan externe lending partners. Deze lending partners voeren verschillende activiteiten uit om rewards te verdienen met het geleende geld. De inkomsten worden gedeeld met Bitvavo Custody. Bitvavo Custody keert vervolgens een deel van deze inkomsten aan jou uit, als beloning voor het uitlenen van je assets.
Bitvavo Custody selecteert alle lending partners zorgvuldig. Desondanks kan het voorkomen dat een lending partner in gebreke blijft en de uitgeleende assets niet terug kan geven. Dit kan leiden tot een geheel of gedeeltelijk verlies.
